Nordic Startup Awards

Back in November we went to Aarhus to take part in the Danish Startup Awards show. We were nominated in the Best Designers category but little did we know that we would end up winning it.

That meant that we would take part in the grand Nordic Startup Awards show held at Bremen where we would be up against the best designers from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. Since the show took place in our own city, Copenhagen, we decided to take as many of our team members with us as we could, just in case. Inside a filled Bremen we sat through the show not knowing what would happen.  When the time came for our category to be decided we just had to cross our fingers and hope for the best. As it turned out we won and in front of the cheering and mildly drunk audience we got to the stage, and accepted the award. We are very proud of it, because we always sweat the pixels and polish every element of the apps we do, but we had never directly competed against our colleagues from the other nordic countries.
